Named one of the city’s top 100 Independent Shops by the Houston Chronicle in 2013, James Craig Furnishings is a one-stop shop for fashion-forward home furnishings. Founded in 2006 by James Keathley, we opened our Washington Avenue showroom and design center in early 2008. After 10 years in the Washington Ave Corridor, we moved to an expanded showroom at the Houston Design Center in April 2018. Our showroom and design center features home furnishings from top American brands Vanguard Furniture, Lee Industries, Bernhardt Furniture, Arteriors and Brownstone Furniture among others.
A native Houstonian, James transitioned the project management skills he acquired in a corporate setting into a successful business focused on top-notch customer service and industry knowledge. As a regular attendee at the High Point Furniture Market – the largest home furnishings trade show in the world – James is constantly learning about future trends, manufacturing processes, and personalization choices for all categories of home furnishings.
